That would be hilarious if the Rockets agreed to pull that off. As much as I knock Harden for his lack of defense, he's still got alot of upside as a player.

Hmmm, a younger, black hole, no defense 2 guard for an older, black hole, no defense small forward. Brilliant!! This needs to happen for the pure entertainment value.

Apparently Cleveland attempting to enter the Love sweepstakes by offering up a package of players and the 1st pick but Love will not sign in Cleveland.

Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings discussing Josh Smith trade - ESPN

Good lord. Rudy Gay and Josh Smith on the same team...with Boogie no less. For the sake of everyone that loves basketball, I hope Adam Silver has a "For the Good of the Game" clause he can use to prevent that from ever happening.
That team would be painful to watch.

The way Grantland talks about Dante Exum it seems that no one has really seen this guy more than once or twice and he has a totally busted shot. I wouldn't be surprised if he falls out of the top 7.

"Scout 2: He’s riding the wave, like Dion Waiters. Same agent. It’s all mystery and intrigue. He did enough at the Hoop Summit to be in the conversation. Everyone else, we have seen the film, we know the positives and the negatives. Embiid, injuries; Parker, body; Wiggins, shot. [The process] exposes the flaws. It’s all positives for Exum. We haven’t seen much, so we all think he’s great. With the other guys, we built them up pre-draft, then spent months picking them apart. Exum avoided all of this.

I think he’s a high-turnover guy, and he can’t shoot. We talk about Wiggins’s shot … well, it’s better than Exum’s."

Definitely looks one-sided in the Knicks favor.

On a side note, why is the buzz on Dirk's free agency so quiet? I realize he's stated his intentions to stick around, but that hasn't stopped people from being swayed by suitors in the past.

So far I've seen Calderon, Ellington, Larkin, Dalembert and 34th pick

for Felton and Chandler.

Dalembert can be bought out for 1.8mil

I guess Cubes is tired of hearing "you should have never got rid of Chandler"

I can't believe anyone in Dallas thinks this is a good deal.

Chandler coming back is fine. I'm all for that even though he's injured and not the same guy we let leave in the first place.

Felton is a bum. That said, I won't miss Calderon either. But you don't give up your young, future players for this.

Larkin has a LOT of potential. Ellington is a good reserve with potential. NEITHER should be in this trade, and Larkin should be hands off completely unless we're getting something substantial in return.

Quite possibly the dumbest trade I've ever seen in the NBA.

We give up the franchise for nothing - we don't get any expiring contracts, we don't get any top rated players, we don't get any future considerations.......

WOW.

Every person on this board can make a better deal than that. This is flat out embarrassing for the Mavs FO.

If Calderon can continue to shoot 45% from 3 land like he did last season......I'm all for bringing him on board

So that leaves the Mavs with Ellis and Wright under contract. And now Chandler and Felton.

The Mavs got some serious cap space going on, especially if Dirk is gonna give a hometown discount.
I wonder if they want to amnesty Felton?
