I'll believe it when I see it. Right before the Finals, Bosh said he'd take a pay cut to stay in Miami. Free agency, got to love it.

Exactly..
And I have heard several times he does not want to play in Dallas.
I never heard he wouldn't play in Houston.
He actually would thrive in that offense.

Teams like the Lakers, Spurs and Heat hang championship banners. The Clippers hang selfie banners.
You forgot about the team with the most titles in NBA history.

If I was Bosh I wouldn't pass up going to a Texas team and especially Houston. How would Dallas work, would he play the 5, bc Dirk is at the 4?
The Mavs don't need a slacker like Bosh.

So they are gonna pay a bench player 12-15 mil, seems wasted IMO

Sometimes you pay a guy more because of what he has meant to your team. Wade has given his heart and soul to that organization and has stayed with them though the good and the bad. He has had a large hand in bringing them 3 championships and 5 finals appearances.

If they have to overpay him in his last few seasons, so what? He's earned it. That's why I don't have a problem with what the Lakers gave Kobe. They didn't have to give him that much and he didn't ask for it. They gave it to him because he has made the organization far more money than what they have paid him.

I don't want to speak for Heat fans. But I'd be willing to bet that if you told them 5 years ago that they were going to be going to 4 straight finals, win 2 and then maybe not be able to field as good a team for a couple of years, because they are going to overpay D-Wade to thank him for what he's done. They'd have signed up for that in a heartbeat.

That team from the city where everyone sounds like an ass hole.

Ooooh, them. Yeah, I just can't seem to remember that team. Must be some kind of mental block or something.

The East is weak, even if James leaves....the Heat could still contend in the East. Just depends on which FA they sign to "replace" James.

I've said all along remove lebron and as wade and rest of heat would at MINIMUM go to east finals. LeBron is more of a luxury player. Nice to have but heat could compete very well without him

In 2010 and 2011, that statement was correct. Not anymore.

If bosh goes to a team that run offense for him & can get 16 shots oer night, he will avg in the low 20s

Wade isn't the same guy but he can still avg in the low 20s and shoot over 50 percent.

Not bosh IMO. Wade is slowly breaking down and he knows it

Wade is fine. The Heat were just too cautious with him last year. The only injury he had last year was a hamstring injury. Other than that minor injury he never got hurt last year.

Wade can still get 20 ppg in the NBA. He will just do it volume shooting. He can't guard anyone though.

I have to disagree with you there. Wade averaged close to 20PPG last season. Wade almost shot 55% for the season last year.

Dwyane Wade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He's excellent at picking his spots on where to shoot. He's not a volume shooter like Melo and Kobe, although I expect the percentage to go down a bit once he becomes more of a perimeter player.

Wade has also made the all-defensive team many times and is considered one of the best shot blocking 2-guards in the NBA.

Wade is one of the most efficient 2 guards in the NBA ever. He can get 20 PPG on 15 shots.

Wade has never shot under 46% from the field in his career and since the 08-09 season, he has shot 49% or better in 5 of those 6 seasons including shooting 50% or better in 4 of his last 5 seasons including a career best 54% this past season.

He also never been a volume shooter in his career. Only once in his career did he shoot over 20 shots per game.

In 7 of his 11 seasons he shot at least 49% from the field and he only avg 19+ shots 4 times in his career.

Yeah, he's where Kobe has been for about 4 years or so. He'll have to concentrate more on team defense because he can't lock guys down like he used to.

At this point, Wade's all defensive team selections are kind of like Kobe's last few, they are based on reputation, not actual performance. He can still be a very good team defender though.

No one with direct knowledge of the process would declare the Lakers had overtaken New York and Chicago in Anthony's mind, but one source close to Anthony said of the Lakers, "They're in the game now." Yahoo! Sports

Adrian Wojnarowski: As one source in process says of Lakers bid, "They can promise max money without any (roster) moves needing to be made." 4 years, $97M. Twitter @WojYahooNBA - See more at: HoopsHype - NBA Rumors
