Man, if I'm Minny, I'm taking the Bulls deal.

Taj, Mirotic and McBuckets?

All under contract?

Yeah.....

Clearly, Wiggins has more upside.

But, those are 3 young guys that will be rotation players at worst.
Totally agree!!

There has to be more to it than that.

The price would go up if they simply refused the offer, they don't need Chicago or anyone else to drive up the price. They've publicly said no one on the Cleveland roster outside of Wiggins is of any value to them......and they aren't going to trade an all star for a rookie.

This talk that Cleveland has the best offer on the table, for those reasons, is nonsense. They want WAAAY more than Wiggins, and Cleveland doesn't have the WAAAY portion of it.

So the question remains......what is it they are REALLY after? I think it's plain to most of us......Minny is not in rebuild mode, so I find it highly questionable that they'd even entertain Wiggins at this point. Trading for him would mean a total rebuild.

I think they want the GS offer, and are trying to extort more in that deal than what's being offered.

So, in other words, they are trying to keep/drive the price up like I said.

Here is the big fat elephant in the room that nobody is addressing:

Lee has nerve damage, is 31 yrs old and in the 2nd to last year of his deal.

I believe you when you say they value him.

But, at some point, they are going to have to upgrade that position because he is on the other side of his prime...imo

What is he worth to resign?

To me, it comes down to who they value more.

A stretch 4 like Love or a dead-eye shooter like Klay.

Ask the new Cavs fans on this site, I have been giving them hell for picking the wrong Thompson at #4 a few drafts back.

I love him.

However, I think it's easier to find a guy closer to Klay's talent than to find a guy with Love's skill set.

But, I can't knock the Warriors for thinking differently :noidea:.

Which I agree with I'm all about getting out of lees bad contract and trading for love in the process

I sort of agree. I wouldn't say 3. I would say 4-6 seed but point is they're not winning a title with this current roster. They can make the 2nd round or possibly even a WCF if they get some breaks to go their way but this team is not winning a championship with that roster.

They can get the 3 seed but most likely 4-5 but yeah I agree

You know what team I'm curious about?

Well, actually, there are 2.

1. The Nuggets

2. The Pelicans

Both squads have some good talent.

After the Lakers and Knicks, they both had about as many, or more injuries, than anyone.

Interesting!!!

This whole "Lakers waiting for Doc" stuff doesn't make sense to me. The deadline for the sale to Ballmer is August 15th. If Sterling can't delay to that date (although it looks like he can) then the sale goes through.

If he gets the sale delayed past the deadline, then the NBA will move forward with voting Sterling out and then he can take them to court.

Also, if Donald Sterling still owns the team after the deadline, but the NBA is doing everything in it's power to oust him, why would Doc leave?

If the Lakers truly are waiting on Doc (which I doubt) then how long after August 15th do they wait for Doc's decision?

"Thompson will average 15 and 10."

He didn't.
DJ, fans forget that Clay is one hell of a defensive player, who can rebound and put the ball in the net. Clay and Curry make one hell of a good backcourt. I'm not too sure you break that combo up.

That's a win for everyone.

But, who plays SG in Cleveland, Delevedova or Miller?
