Throwing the cliches at me?

Like most fan bases, they are die hard when they are winning, and passive when they aren't.
Remember when Jacobs field was sold out for years vs for the last several years being mostly empty?
Wonder why:scratch:

The same relatives( living in Ohio) who 2 months ago told me they would rather watch paint dry then watch the NBA playoffs are now trying to buy season tickets.

And winning with a loaded team ( if you do) shouldn't make you a savior.
When you're the best player in the world it should be expected.

Actually you are wrong, Browns games are packed and the Dawg Pound is a crazy place.

And it was AWESOME!

I had never before watched a Hockey Game until I started chatting with you.

I might actually try to go to a Kings game or two next Season.

I kinda liked it :suds:.

I had never been a hockey fan until a few years ago. Never understood the game. A couple of friends who are huge hockey fans took the time to explain some of it and now I love it.

Hockey playoffs are the most intense of all sports, imo.

Stop talking nonsense....The Browns ranked 11th in the NFL in attendance per game and at 97.4% full were near the middle of the pack in the NFL. Not necessarily as you describe. The Cavaliers were 16th in the league in NBA last year and at an 87.4% percent full rate were even lower. Also, ticket prices were less than in most of the country. The Indians so far this year are in 29th in MLB (lower than the Marlins) at 55% occupancy.

With all due respect to other sports of which I am a rabid fan, there is no sport that offers continuous head busting action like hockey! IMHO.

11th is pretty damn good considering they have suck for the past 20 years :laugh3:

Like I said as awful as these teams have been the attendance is the middle of the pack of better.

The Indians are piss poor to what they were, but baseball is the toughest sport to attractive fans bc so many games.

So untrue. Between the team sucking, and people now preferring to stay home and watch Sunday Ticket, there are tons of empty seats.

As a kid though, Browns football was the best.
I lived in that ( the old ) stadium as a kid, every Sunday, from probably 1967-78.
I saw the first ever Monday night game vs the Jets.
I saw the Steelers games, Broncos games, Raiders ice bowl game.

It's not near the same there any more, and won't be until they get at least a playoff team.
It used to be passion.
Now it's just drunks throwing batteries for no reason.

Sorry, but the good Indians sold out 455 straight games.
It isn't about die hard.
It isn't about Cleveland vs Miami.

It's all about being a good team, and when cities teams get good, they all have a bandwagon.

Of course......those clowns in Minnesota will probably end up losing on the Warriors offer and trading Love to the Cavs for Bennett, Thompson and 2 future first rounders. LOL.
