The Cavs pie in the sky thinking has no basis in reality. They do not have the assets to get Love. Both the Warriors & Suns have better assets.

What they don't have is 3 1st rounders and #1 pick (possibly a superstar). Klay has the potential though, maybe

Riley does not sweat. Has done it all including winning as a player, coach, and executive. He has consistently won. I sure hope he has a plan B though as a Heat fan. Would be a shame to be caught flat footed.

Would have to dump salary too to give Love a max deal which I would expect he would want. James friend and center Anderson Varejo would have to be moved along with some other young guys but I guess anything is possible.

Not sure if they throw in Wiggins, some first round picks and unload a big salary that expires next year. I do agree that right now the Warriors have a better position but Cavs will do everything in their power to ensure they get James so they may give up even more.

The Wolves could have had 3-5 first round picks from the 14/15 drafts + NBA ready quality talent in Markieff Morris & more from the Suns. Wiggins + future late 1st round picks every other year, doesn't sound as attractive as either the Warriors or Suns offer.

Agree with that.
Riley would just be more determined, but a whole lot smarter then Gilbert as far as execution of operating post James.

In reality, that has been correct 9 of 11 seasons.

Anyway, you might not need him, but it sure as hell is a bonus if you do.
