They better not. Heyward is good, but nowhere close to a max player.
Yeah it gotta be a good signs for Heat fans that Lebron and the other 2 of the big 3 were discussing contract numbers and it is also a good sign that you haven't heard any rumors about LBJ meeting with any teams on July 1st.
Right now it looks possible that the big 3 may not meet with any teams and hopefully all re-sign with Miami before 4th of July and let Pat go to work
The Raps and Hawks made a trade.
Lou Williams and rights to Louis Noguiera to the Raps for John Salmons. The Hawks are expected to waive Salmons and only pay 1 million of his 7 million dollar salary.
They will have 20 million in cap space this summer.
I doubt James initially even sets up meetings with any other teams.
IF, for whatever reason the Heat isn't satisfying him a few days into FA, then he will.
I read on ESPN it was going to be 15.5 million.
I wonder if we're going to trade Millsap too.

Why would you trade one of your best valued assets? He's underpaid.
My guess would be the Hawks are trading away some players in preparation for free agency. I saw an article on ESPN the other day that stated that sources told ESPN the Hawks were one of the teams working on clearing cap space to go after Carmelo and LeBron.
Problem is I can't see those two signing with the Hawks over the Suns, Heat, Bulls, or Mavericks.
