this whole waiting for LeBron thing is getting annoying. 4 years ago today was when he had the 2 hour espn special. im ready for another big free agent to say screw him if he cant make up his mind. hes scheduled to meet with Miami AGAIN tomorrow. my guess is nothing will happen till then...and even then if he doenst commit this may stretch out through weekend into next week.

He's not signing up to that roster as it currently is. And he's not going to go there because they have a "plan" - they will have to get the pieces FIRST

If you're Lebron, who do you trust more? Pat Riley, or an owner that had his own personal rant against you on the team website for 4 years?

Yeah, I'd be surprised if he went to Cleveland because they have "a plan". Lebron has seen first hand how good they are at making and executing plans. If you're going to a team because of their plan, you go to one that has shown that they know how to execute a plan successfully. Which Miami has.

Once again, they weren't good enough to make the playoffs in the EAST. Adding Lebron doesn't instantly make them contenders.

I would say unlikely.
He's scheduled to go to Brazil for the Final on the 13 th, then on to China from there.
Let's assume he leaves for Brazil on the 11 th or 12 th ( if possible)?

How can this not be over before he leaves?

How can things not move quick once he meets with Riley?

Put it this way, if things stay quiet once meeting with Riley ends, it has to be Miami, and Riley is letting him announce it however he wants.
If Riley leaves the meeting scorned, it will be no secret.

They couldn't do it with Lebron last year for 3 reasons

1) We ran into the hottest team in the league for the last 3 months or so.

2) Spurs were always a terrible match-up for us even in 2013. We would've easily beat OKC, LAC, or Houston in a series.

3) The role players sucked and we've already improved and got younger by adding 3 players

Probably so, but Melo is totally different player then Lebron he hasn't proven he can be the team player Lebron has and that has carried them these last couple years. I'm sure it could work, but how for how long

seems like it would have to be him staying in Miami with that kind of timeline. would he potentially join Cleveland or anyone else not having met with those teams relying on strictly the meetings with his agent? that's unlikely.
