those reports were false

If the reports are true that he would earn over 50M less by going to the Bulls vs going to NY or LA,
then the Bulls were never a real option anyway IMO.

A plugged-in source tells me there is a 90 percent chance that LeBron James will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it will be announced on The Official Website of LeBron James if it happens.

That is my latest intelligence, and it comes from the same league source who told me Monday that he felt there was a 75 percent chance James returns to his original NBA team.

All I know is that if LBJ doesn't go back to Cleveland a few guys & their "sources" will lose a lot of credibility

I just dont see how he sits with Riley and Wade tomorrow and tells them he is going back to Cleveland. This all has to be a ruse so Bosh gets nervous and signs elsewhere. That way they can sign Melo and not be the bad guys who wouldnt resign Bosh.

Considering Wade opted out of making $20+ mil so that he could restructure his deal and give the Heat some room to add more players.

After he meets with Riley tomorrow, I doubt anyone will have to wait for anything.
If Riley knows he lost him, he'd be rebuilding the roster by tomorrow night.

Anyway , my opinion is that James wouldn't leave Bosh hanging to the point of him possibly losing this max offer from the Rockets, especially after he opted out of a sweet deal from the Heat for the sole intention of helping James.
Everyone whose ever played with James has said he's a better teammate than player.

You know what would be funny even though it probably won't happen? If LBJ leaves and Miami sign Carmelo & re-sign Bosh and kick Lebron's ass every year in the playoffs

Yeah but thing is at the moment they're not teammates. It is every man for himself right now so I don't put anything past him

I hope Lebron stays with Miami for a few more years at least, but if he leaves, then screw him. My loyalty is to the Heat team and its players on the roster. If he wants to run away after winning 2 rings and going 4 times, then he is a fool and good riddance.

THAT would be hilarious.

You may be right, but I just don't see it.
These 3 men have been through some hellacious times together for the last 4 years.
They will share that bond forever.
Really, unheard of in the sports world before.
One series loss to the Spurs won't change that bond.

Don't get me wrong, James owes them nothing as far a planning the rest of his career, but he's not going to screw them out of their livelihoods in the process.
