Kamerion Wimbley - DL - Titans

Titans signed DE Kamerion Wimbley to a five-year, $35 million contract.
The deal includes $13.5 million guaranteed. Wimbley was already guaranteed $6.5 million following his release from the Raiders. He's an excellent consolation prize for a team that missed out on Mario Williams as it got bogged down in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, and should greatly improve a pass rush that notched just 28 sacks in 2011. That was good for 31st in the NFL. Wimbley has essentially been a 3-4 outside linebacker for most of his career, but he will play right end in Tennessee's 4-3 defense. He's notched at least 6.5 sacks each of the past three seasons. The Titans have a lot of pass-rush potential, with Derrick Morgan a full year removed from ACL surgery on the left end and the explosive, high-motor Wimbley rushing off the weak side.

Andre Fluellen - DL - Lions

Lions re-signed DT Andre Fluellen to a one-year contract.
Fluellen drew interest from the Rams and Bengals in free agency, but will return as depth in Detroit after appearing in at least 13 games each of the past three seasons. He played just 161 snaps in 2011, however, and has notched only 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 51 career games.

Jacob Lacey - DB - Lions

Lions signed CB Jacob Lacey to a one-year contract.
The Lions have found a potential replacement for Eric Wright in a 24-year-old who has already made 27 career starts, but was also benched for a five-game stretch by the NFL's worst team last season. Lacey is serviceable against the run, but has been one of the league's most frequent burn victims the past few seasons. He became an unrestricted free agent after being non-tendered by the Colts, and had drawn no other known interest on the open market.

Peyton Manning - QB - Broncos

Broncos signed QB Peyton Manning to a five-year, $96 million contract.
The biggest free agent signing in NFL history is now official. The amount of guaranteed money is currently unknown, but the $19.2 million average annual value surpasses that of both the deal Manning signed with the Colts last summer and the four-year, $72 million extension Tom Brady signed in 2010. It's an historic amount of money for any player, but particularly for a 36-year-old who didn't play a snap in 2011. The Broncos will now go about surrounding Manning with more weapons and former confidants. First up is likely free agent C Jeff Saturday.

Peyton Manning - QB - Broncos

The National Football Post's Andrew Brandt reports Peyton Manning will make $18 million in 2012 "without injury protection."
It's a leap of faith by the Broncos, but essentially means Manning's five-year, $96 million deal includes "only" $18 million in fully guaranteed money. The Broncos will be protected for injury beyond next season, as Manning must pass a March 2013 physical to guarantee $20 million base salaries in 2013 and 2014, while each year will include an injury waiver.

Ted Ginn - WR - 49ers

Free agent WR/KR Ted Ginn will visit the Vikings on Tuesday.
The return specialist has already visited the Ravens and Lions. He's reportedly seeking an increased role as a receiver, and could be offered it by the Vikings, who are perilously thin at wideout behind Percy Harvin and Michael Jenkins.

No plan "B" because they can't afford a plan "B"

Lions re-signed MLB Stephen Tulloch to a five-year contract.
Details aren't in yet, but it's good bet that Tulloch came close to D'Qwell Jackson's $42.5 million contract after restoring his value with a fine 2011 season in which he led the team in tackles. The Lions did well to retain Tulloch and franchise player Cliff Avril on an improving defense. The Lions have 21-of-22 starters returning from last year's playoff team. Tulloch's signing should put the wheels in motion for the rest of the inside linebackers on the market to begin settling in.

Tim Tebow - QB - Broncos The New York Daily News and the Newark Star-Ledger report the Jets have "legitimate interest" in trading for Tim Tebow.
A source inside the organization tells beat writer Manish Mehta the Jets will be a "player in the Tebow race." Tebow's selling points are two-fold in the Jets' eyes: He could be a great influence on a locker room that had grown poisonous last season, and new coordinator Tony Sparano has designs on utilizing Tebow in Wildcat formations. According to NFL Network's Michael Lombardi, the Broncos have already received five phone calls on Tebow. The Jets could be the clubhouse leader.
