Jason Campbell - QB - Raiders

NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reports free agent QB Jason Campbell will visit the Bears.
"They are working on a deal," adds Lombardi. Like Kyle Orton, Campbell's read on the market suggests there will be no opportunity to compete for a starting job in 2012. He would make for one of the top backups in the NFL if the Bears land him.

Browns signed G John Greco to an undisclosed contract.
Acquired last summer from St. Louis in exchange for a 2012 seventh-round pick, Greco appeared in 15 games, playing primarily on special teams. He has run-blocking potential, but through four NFL seasons has only four starts.

Just out of curiosity, do teams open up a bunch of extra phone lines during Free Agency and the Draft? So that if any agent or team calls they can get directly through and not be put on hold... or do you think they set up some sort of website like this one or an instant message system??

I would think the initial communication would come via some sort of instant message mechanism - then phone to hammer out visit details - that is my guess.

Wow. A couple folks around here were really high on Brown. Wanted him in the first, even. I thought he was a steal in the second. I'd strongly consider bringing him in for a look. 3-4 might be a better fit.
