You can do an injury settlement possibly. They could wait and designate him a Post June 1st cut kind of thing. I'm honestly not sure where he is in the healing process though.

I have certainly read that Munchak is expecting Leary to start - indicating to me that the Bronco coaches have baked in analysis about where Leary is on the healing arc and what his skill levels would be at this stage.

I’m not really impressed with this off-season. Getting the same vibes as last year. Jackson is decent, But that’s it. Overpaid for James who was ranked like 53rd out of 65 Tackles. Flacco has sucked for awhile. I knew keenum was going to be a shit show when we signed him but at least he was coming off a good season

I was just about to say that I am surprised that he is still on the market. Maybe he was asking for stupid money and the market has come down with people signing. I think he would be a great grab.

Draft one would have been fine with me. and waited after final cuts there was time why pay someone that must have never drunk a glass of milk in his life? I was glad we drafted him now not so much.

I've actually liked the signings this offseason.

Ja'Wuan James has shown good ability. Yes he got paid a buttload of money and probably more than he has earned for what he has done on the field, but he fits the system well and has Munchak coaching him up.

Kareem Jackson is that swiss army knife that you like on defense. Losing Stewart at the Safety spot means we need a guy that can move into the SS role when called upon and cover while still helping in the run game. Add in his ability to play all the corner spots and he is a nice player added.

Heuerman does really move the needle for me but he is better than what we have on the roster right now. I expect the Broncos to go TE early in the draft.

Flacco is not a great QB but he has at least shown more consistent play on the field than Keenum. He is also a good fit when you consider the Shanahan offensive system is what Flacco had his best season in.

Callahan gives the Broncos three cornerbacks that have actually shown good ability. The secondary is vastly improved over last year. Biggest upgrade of the offseason for sure is adding Jackson and Callahan to pair with Harris.

The Broncos are a better team. How much better probably depends a lot more on the coaching staff than it does on these players that have been added.

I think if we were going to trade Von, we wouldn't have brought in Flacco. That move tells me we're trying to compete now, hoping he (Flacco) has something left in the tank.
