We play ASU tonight at 7 on Pac 12 networks. Anyone know why our last two games against ASU don't count in the conference standings? And why are they always single games instead of a whole series? #confused

Arizona dominates ASU 8-0. Only faced one batter over the minimum and ASU didn't even get their first hit until the 7th inning and he got caught stealing. Complete game two hit shutout for Ginkel.

They can only play 3 conference games against each other per season. But because they are our rival (in baseball, anyway), and they are right up the road, we play them another couple times per season. It still counts toward the T-Cup, and (usually) helps the non-con SOS. But the conference won't let them play any more than 3 times in a season.

Arizona completes the 3 game sweep of #13 Oregon State. I think it's about time we get ranked. It seems like in college baseball the polls hardly change week to week.

Overdue but Joey Rickard, another player from our 2012 title team made his MLB debut this season and is playing pretty solid for the Orioles. I think he's hitting around .260 with 4 homers. Made his debut about a month ago I think?

And this seasons team is finishing up the regular season with a three game series at Hawaii starting tomorrow. We are a lock for the postseason and have a chance at hosting a regional.

Arizona makes the postseason as a 2 seed in the ULL regional. They will play Sam Houston on Friday at 11am. First time making the postseason since our 2012 title team. Obviously Jay Johnson was a terrific choice to replace Lopez. Let's go Cats!

Really happy how Johnson has these guys loose, and leaving it all out on the field. He is getting everything out of them and the players are completely buying in. That's so hard to accomplish for a first-year coach. No super starts, just a bunch of guys with good chemistry, owning their role, and sticking to their game. Great to have watched this team this season.
