Are you kidding? The Islanders will have over 15 million coming off the books at the end of the season. The only player left to sign is Matt Martin & word is they're working on a multi-year deal. Even after they sign Martin the Isles won't be at 50 million in terms of the cap.

One note on Moulson he will become a UFA after the 2013/2014 season. That will be 3.1 million coming off the books the year after this one. Wang always sets himself up to shed salary after every season.

Hey if the Devils want Eaton or Jurcina be my guest. The only player they lost worth a damn off last seasons team was Parenteau & nobody thought he was any good to begin with. They got him off the scrapheap for 600K & now he's going to make 4M per with the Avalanche. I wish him well, but I don't blame the Isles for not resigning him. I do think they should have traded him at the deadline though.

Life without Parise will begin soon enough for the Devils. It's going to be interesting to see if Zajac says goodbye as well.

and was only 10m per game when it matters (playoffs).
if you've got room for a powerplay specialist maybe, but as a full time player, he is done.

No kidding. We aren't talking about Jarome Iginla here. Doan is a terrific leader & plays the game hard every shift. He'll score 20 to 25 end up with 50 to 60 points. The guy is 35 years old. He's not worth 7M plus per year.
