He was fantastic as he has been on most last second drives lately.I agree, the boys didn't panic and Tony was near perfect on that last minute TD drive.

I could not agree more on both points. Expecting a 20 point win and doing so because of the media??? Bothhere lies your first problem
He was fantastic for sure. OL overall was good. Didn't even notice a drop off when MB came in either.PE1 was right about one thing last night- Tyron Smith is the best player on the field
The turnovers and dropped passes kept the giants in the game. Really should have been a rout. Good thing the giants suck. The ol was dominant. Randle proved he is not a starting running back and the cowboys need to figure out that fact to save the season.
There was one big drop and that was Dez. I guess technically Street was kind of drop too because it wasn't ruled a catch. You can't throw the ball behind guys when they are moving and expect them to come up with it.The turnovers and dropped passes kept the giants in the game. Really should have been a rout. Actually I think TWill had two drops back to back.Twill had a big drop on one. Went right through his hands
Well I'm hearing a lot about run pass ratio. 45-23?? 14 passes last two drives. We also had ball at the end of first half and were throwing. Sure it's more than our norm, but the situation called for it

The thing I liked the most last night? Our offense looked a lot like the Pats. And I don't see why it can't continue to look like that without Dez. Romo may have thrown 45 times, but they were mostly safe and short passes. I don't mind Romo airing it out like that when he has a clean pocket and he's making mostly safe short passes.lot's of good things came outta that win last night
Most of all...1-0
Don't pay attention to run pass ratio when a lot of the passes are short. Short passes are almost the same thing as running plays. Like I said, our offense looked a lot like the Pats last night and going into this season I had a feeling our offense would look like the Pats because of our RB situation. Short passes to Beasley and Dunbar will be a normal thing in this offense even with Dez. It will be even more with Dez out.Well I'm hearing a lot about run pass ratio. 45-23?? 14 passes last two drives. We also had ball at the end of first half and were throwing. Last year what made us so good was running when there were 8 and even 9 in the box. When you do that and then run a PAP at them it is all but impossible to defend. If you pass just because they move up a safety you let them dictate the game. In years past they'd stack the box...then Kill kill kill...then blitz and we get killed. Yes, you want to exploit the defense when they play everyone up, but at the same time you need to do what made you good in the first place and Romo is a better QB when he doesn't put it up as much.If teams are going to crowd the line then pass away until defenses play legit.
Need to get that down. Bad things happen when we pass too much. But, like you said, you need to take into account what happens at the end of the game. When your last 10 plays are passes it will skew your ratio.Well I'm hearing a lot about run pass ratio. 45-23?? 14 passes last two drives. We also had ball at the end of first half and were throwing.
