That ticks me off when I am out there in a $1,700 kayak with 4 fishing rods for another grand and hundreds of dollars worth of lures and then this happens.

Actually I love watching the eagles, herons and osprey. All very cool birds.

Ha! I remember a time when I went on a fishing trip with my Pops in the Gulf of Siam as a teenager. Our housekeeper was using a hook and ball of line...caught twice as much as the rest of us with 'professional' gear.

i do not consume any football other then the redskins ...

but i am a unique circumstance as i go to bed before prime time games (when i am behaving) & do not pay for cable TV. I wouldnt even know anything about the other teams players if it wasnt for fantasy football.

but looking forward to this weekends early game .... gives me the opportunity to stream the red zone channel and catch up on the rest of the league.

when i was a kid i used to watch sportscenter ritually & know every player on every team ... but i either do not have that passion or memory to keep up any more ... unless it relates to my fantasy team

I got in because of my grandfather, who died loving this team. No one knows this except my wife (and now you) but prior to every game, I give him a synopsis of the current situation coming into that game. It is something that he did with me and I honor him by doing the same for him. BTW: My wife originally thought that I had lost it ....talking to no one but she long became used to me doing this. Interesting that you used the word "was" when referring to your mom. If she has passed as I originally thought as I read your response, we may be brothers in our spiritual rituals. Who knew?

And do not mention Joe T. She used to think he was the dumbest man alive... I never understood why. lol

My wife just goes about her thing on Sundays ... i'll probably have a Dallas star on my tombstone because she is such a loving wife, lol.
