You're crazy if you don't think Max has had an effect on Stras's attitude and mental toughness. Max isn't what he was when he got here, but he is the heart and soul of that team.

Hold it down for me at the parade tomorrow Sportster! Work has me in Houston.

I have decided to watch it on TV today. I'll see more and going to use my time out of the house for watching games at the sports bar tomorrow. It is on local sports channel at 1:00.

I was super excited about the Nats and very happy they won but for me the Caps was a bigger deal. I grew up about 5 miles from Capital Centre and was a Caps fan since year 1. I have been to a lot more Caps games than Nats.

It's funny. I didnt expect to feel this way, but the Caps was a much bigger deal for me as well. I think all the years of watching them choke just added up and made their run almost cathartic for me.

94 year old Ted Lerner getting up at the podium and saying you can call him Grandpa Shark from now on was so cool. Davey gave a great speech and it looked like Zimm got choked up when he gave his speech.

1. College or pro if you had to pick just one for entertainment value?

2. What's the best rivalry in college football?

Well, my college team is 8-0 ….

Navy vs. Army; Michigan vs. Ohio State; Texas vs. Oklahoma

Here is my two cents worth my friend:

1. Pro . . . Even though I haven't been getting much entertainment value for a long time.

2. Now that's a tough one since rosters change so much from year to year with players graduating. For this year it would have to be the game coming up this coming Saturday with LSU at Alabama but historically it could be Oklahoma/Nebraska, USC/UCLA, Ohio State/Michigan, Alabama/Auburn, and I'm sure there are many others.

P.S. If you had said college basketball . . . it would be UNC/Duke . . . PERIOD!
