The only team that consistently sells out here is the Caps.

How many baseball teams sell out 81 games a year? Rendon ought to think about hitting the baseball when it matters most.

My reference to DC possibly becoming a baseball town was in response to j_y talking about how the O's used to own Baltimore and now they don't. I was saying I don't think that could happen here.

That wasn't my point. My point was that an apathetic fan base is one step away from not having a fan base. And that is what DC has become towards the Redskins. We used to be pissed, which meant we cared. Now most don't. Football will always have a larger fan base than baseball or hockey. But that doesn't mean that the Redskins will. Just look at the wizards. at one point 30 years ago, the bullets were a big deal.

Perhaps MS wasn't as badly hurt as first indicated, but it worked out nicely for the Nats that he's available for the biggest game in the history of the team in Washington!
