I'm curious, in what other country is this type of protest constitutionally protected? Protest is actually the most "American" thing imaginable....after all......what do you think the whole revolutionary war thing, that gave rise to where we are today, about?
This type of protest is absolutely protected, if it is your platform. It is not the player's platform. The platform is owned by the owners. The platform is paid for by the government is paid for by the people. People have a right to protest unless it is against the employer's rules.
People also have a RIGHT to protest by not showing up or by not buying merchandise.
Wrong, to say that is akin to saying that there are soldiers willing to get paid but won't fight for the country. Yeah they exist, but just like the players that you're refer to....They must check then forgo their manhood before doing so.
BTW: and just to be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR.....anyone willing to give up their humanity for a dollar isn't worth living.
What? This makes no sense. The players will not throw away millions of dollars to be allowed to protest on the field. If these players refuse to play, there are players that will gladly replace them.
