So I Guess Murphy to the Dline is a permanent move. 276 pounds right now. Wants to be 290. Does this have anything to do with the draft? Is OLB now in play at #21. I know Spence has visited.
Hey I said he needed to switch positions to make an impact. I knew he couldn't make an impact for us at OLB. They asked him to put on 30 pounds. Why did they do that if he was an effective3 player for us skinsdad?
It just depends on who is available. SM will go BPA. Spence has some issues, so he may not be the one. But they clearly are vetting him. OLB is always in play. If a blue chipper somehow falls to us at 21, you have to take him, even though we have 3 quality ones already. So I Guess Murphy to the Dline is a permanent move. 276 pounds right now. My whole argument awhile back is that he wouldn't be valuable to us as a OLB.
Dean, your whole argument was that he was a bad pick and that is why we drafted Smith and signed Gillette. His play has nothing to do with either of those actions. We took both those players because they are good football players. Trent has played well in certain situations and has contributed positively to the team. No-one was arguing that he was a great OLB. If we were to draft an OLB at 21 this year, would you argue that Smith was a bad pick and we are trying to replace him?My whole argument awhile back is that he wouldn't be valuable to us as a OLB.
