Also yes I am very likely to post less known versions of a song, or even lesser known songs, and yes the intent of which is to maybe introduce something not known. I understand people may not like them but again feel free to PM me any songs. THanks YR

I 1st noticed them when I sold everything I owned. Closed my business and moved overseas to a country I had never even read about.
The way makes sense for me in the moving, Paradise makes sense when I arrived in Okinawa. Had a good job, all expenses paid and a house on the beach.

This is a tough one... Two songs with lyrics that have no meaning... They sound good, but what are they saying other than "I have a catchy tune, but don't feel like writing a song".

Have I ever seen it rain on a summer day? Nope, can't say that I have. Then again I lived through 56 summers and don't live in a dessert.

Watch a young man ride.... against the wind? That implies he's fighting himself, but why? What's the girl have to do with anything? Did you take her for granted an lose her? We don't know because you didn't tell us.

Coin flipped and it's Creedence, but only because the shaming you gave yesterday for "no voting".

LOL Not meaning to shame it's just odd to me or maybe this is something that hold little interest to people.

I think Against The Wind is more about how youth has to battle the societal norms in an effort to feel truly free and live life on their terms. But Mehh that could just as easily be nothing.

I guess that's, I was not fond of either song but still managed to muster a decision. I like the musical direction of Coldplay so it edged out Fastball. I just feel I can ding something that can sway me. But today's vote is noted.

We were in the middle of recovering a 18 plane mission when someone came into Flight Deck Control and said something to the Aircraft Handling Officer. I was directing fueling crews and didn't pay much attention. All of a sudden my Division Officer was beside me and said, "Give me the phones. The Chaplain wants to see you." I went down to the chapel and the Chaplain was waiting . He had a solemn look on his face and before he said anything, I said, "My father's dead." He said, "I'm sorry. Pack. You're flying off tomorrow." 8:00 the next morning I launched off the starboard catapult and never saw the ship again. Flew from the ship to DaNang, then with 33 other guys and 133 guys in stainless steel containers, to Travis AFB in California, then to Boston and then to Portland, ME. 14,700 miles in 28 hours. Sunday April 23, 1972. Worst series of flights I ever took.
