Anyways, the field would have looked sick just being one solid green color with those bright ass red letters.

I'm going to keep complaining because I find it so ridiculous that we had this chance to get rid of that shit and we didn't. It's not even like they were saving themselves any trouble either.........they already tore up the old stuff.........so just lay down the green stuff so that it looks like a real football field again.

That striped shit leaves a bad taste of He Who Shall Not Be Named.

I'd rather they block, tackle, get sacks, win the turnover battle, and played disciplined football than be concerned with what's underfoot.

I guess I'm not very observant because I never pay attention to it.

It just makes me feel like we run out on that shit and think we're playing in Disney Land or some shit.......like it's a football field for little tykes.

I miss that simple mindset where things don't have to look all dazzling and shit and rather we just go out on the plain looking piece of green carpet with the plain looking letters and the fans actually wear red shirts and we pound the piss out of people.

Oh, and also........when teams used to beat us in Lincoln, we were so fucking good that the entire stadium stood up and applauded the opponents as they left the field..........completely deflating the opponent fanbase of all their joy.

Now it's just a select few. We're more bitter now with our losses. In my opinion the entire program including the fanbase has grown quite spoiled.

We're so desperate for some attention that we need everything to look pretty now.

We've been spending a shit ton of money ever since we started getting worse.......just trying anything to get some attention and keep the fans happy.

It's really starting to get fucking sad that we can't just go out and win ourselves a God damned championship!

Get to the point where you can't win Conference Championships = start dipping into the emergency fund.

Make the place look like it's full of Championships........trick the young little fuckers.

i think it probably has more to do with the record amounts of football revenue from tv deals en sech that just happened to coincide with us falling from the dominance of the 90's.
