O.T. Zero Dark Thirty

Just watched the DVD Screener of the movie. The real action(if you want to call it that), the actual Seal Team mission, doesn't start until well into 2 hrs of the movie. Until then the story primarily focuses on a few CIA operatives and the events leading up to it. To me it was okay, could have been shorter then the 2 1/2 hours that it is. If you're expecting an action packed recreation of the decade long hunt for Osama, then you will be disappointed. I myself am glad I watched this in the comfort of my own home. 7/10

Yeah, I am psyched for it. I'm kind of intrigued by the backstory, though that moment in the trailer where you see the green target lights creeping towards the house looks INTENSE.

I am very jazzed to see it, but I will probably wait until the initial hype dies down. Actually, I was not much interested in it at first because Hollywood has a tendency to make things awful (See "Flight 93", which could have been called "Pure Speculation"). But an Agent I know said he saw it a few weeks ago and that it was the investigation stuff for the longest time culminating in the raid.

In my job I am the geek in the lab coat who spends months piecing together clues so they know which door to bust in, then the guys with the guns get the five minutes of adrenaline. He said it gave him even more of an appreciation for what I do.
