Rupp is exactly the kind of guy the Oilers should have been targetting. Of course, he doesn't meet the 5'10" and under height requirement for their forwards, so kindly ignore my comment.

It's funny when Bill Torrey left the Islanders ownership had a choice to make. The choice they made bothered me at the time. They named Don Maloney GM over Darcy Regier. Regier left the Isles org. to go to Buffalo as their GM not long after. Maloney has said publicly that he really learned a lot from Torrey. Maloney made a lot of mistakes with the Islanders. He learned from them that's for sure because he'd done one heck of a job in Phoenix.
