Congratulations, Giants and fans alike! My neighbors certainly hated me for about 5 minutes after Brian Wilson struck out Ryan Howard, and my girl friend and her friend gave me the strangest looks I've seen in awhile, but the whoohoos I let out were quite worth it. Hope all of yours were just as satisfying. The rest of the weekend was filled with good friends, good food, good bourbon (Thank you, ElJ, for the Bulleit suggestion) and the 49ers L). All in all, a great way to get ready for the World Series! Hope all is well. Go Giants!

Luckily, I was at a bar where I was surrounded by plenty of other yahoos to whoop it up with.

The 9th was the longest inning of my life..and the Giants still got it done in Philly Out.Standing.

Nice. My parents were at the bar at the Sir Francis Drake. I'm glad they just happened to be in SF. They deserve this after going to Giants' games for over 50 years and raising two die-hard fans. Glad you had a kick-ass weekend. Here's to one more next weekend. .

My wife and I watched at my parents' house. My uncle and aunt also came over. Only my dad and I really know baseball, but it was neat to see everyone get so excited. When Wilson got the final strike, we erupted. The dogs were probably wondering what the heck was going on.
