Brees should have thrown for more than Brady and Rodgers combined. How he didn't is a mystery. In that system Favre would have had 7500 yards at least.
Atleast make the trolling funny. I still would like to know where does Brees rank amongst current QB's

How did that GOAT QB do without his playcaller last year? Who did he publicly say was the reason they were as good as they are?

Brees is a great QB IMO. Payton is a GREAT playcaller and coach. Dallas is stupid for letting him walk.

And WTF does Aikman have to do with Marino?

Are you retarded? Brees threw for 5,000 plus last season, do you know how rare that is? And Aikman and Marino are both Hall of Famers. How dumb are you?

Saw the game and thought the Saints coaching staff cost them the game. You deserved the loss.

You just don't give Tom Brady that many chances to beat you in the final minutes.

They said they trusted Rob Ryan.

Don't you trust Brees more?!

You guys had this one and you blew it.

You have it backwards. What makes Brees so great is he does what he does with no run support. And yes the Saints try to establish a run game. Watch a Saints game. Payton said he expects 100 rushing yards every game and that is his priority. After all, when the Saints won the Super Bowl, they had a great run game. Look at Brady and Manning, both have top tier run games this year. That takes a lot of pressure off them and makes it much easier for them. Brees on the other hand has a bottom three run game to overcome which makes it much tougher on him

Looks to me as if Payton could better insure that goal if he were to commit more to a particular RB. I have seen a number of Saints games when a RB who has run effectively stops getting carries.

I realize they are both HoF. I'm wondering what the hell you are talking about when you said

It would be like hating and peeing on Marino his whole career just because you were a jealous butthurt Aikman fan.

I don't see how the two are related at all.

Nice of you to already have such hatred for people and you "just got here"

They have "top tier" run games because teams have to respect the play action and because both are very good at selecting the weak spots at the line to hit. Neither have top tier talent at RB.

No Monday morning backlash on Payton?

Well afternoon now.

I only read down the 1st page roughly...watching it...before the 3rd down play to win or punt, I said that Payton would go for the 1st down and the kill on the road...my buddy said up 4 he would go by the book and run it to force NE last timeout. He went by the book.

NO DEF has improved...a lot this year...but no way would I run a play knowing I'm going to give Brady the ball back afterwards...Go down with my best player trying to get a 1st...on the road, I little surprised he went conventional there.

That said...right now the Saints look like the best of the NFC teams.
