Basically all he is saying is - Nothing we saw against Wisconsin changed our minds about Ohio St. They did change their minds on Auburn, Wisconsin and Miami, and they ended up behind you.

I didn't think Ohio State was good enough to be in the playoffs, but stating that Alabama was unequivocally better the week after saying the difference was "razor thin" 7 days earlier makes absolutely no sense given what transpired in the intervening time.

Even if the remainder of the SEC sucks again, you'll probably get to play Georgia in the conference championship and if you win that it's a quality win

teams in the other conferences will lose enough upsets to benefit you also, usually how it goes

The only FBS program he has rated lower is Kansas. and the G5 programs he has rated higher would fill a page.

We'll see. Would be better to have a good game on the resume. We can see how even though we scheduled a good FSU team this year, they did bad and it nearly screwed us.

42-14 = Not relevant in 2012 either. They were Wisconsin without an Ohio St. 1987 is 30 years ago. Notre Dame is not relevant in the NC discussion, hasn't been since the early 90's. I can understand how you would like to think they are, but when was the last relevant USC team 2005? What ranked OOC team did Bama beat this season? If you want to go with a Florida State school that was ranked #3 just for the first two weeks in the season, then I can always go with a Texas team, that was ranked when USC beat them.
