Perhaps you think if you throw enough crap against the wall it will stick.
Even not counting Alabama and Syracuse game USC has played in 20 true road OOC games in 16 seasons.
Alabama? Penn State like eight or nine years ago? Maybe another like ten years ago? LOL.
No wonder you're trying to baffle us with your bull crap.

I'm not the one that thinks 2 neutral site games are easier than a home and home.

Nor am I the one that thinks you should get bonus points for playing @ Hawaii, lol. We did that when we were on probation as a reward to the players, we didn't try to pimp it out as some great road game.

Half of your OOC road games are Notre Dame, congrats on making them relevant for the last 20 years, lord konws they need all the help they can get.

Just curious, but where is Troy on that list?

#46

Ahead of UCLA, Utah, Arizona, California, Colorado and Oregon St. and just behind Oregon and Arizona St at 37 and 39. but behind LSU at #21.

Thanks for playing though.

Committee chairman Kirby Hocutt said on ESPN's selection show on Sunday that the Buckeyes' 55-24 loss to Iowa on November 4 played a heavy factor in the committee's decision to ultimately side with the Crimson Tide, who will play probably the Eaton Beavers in OOC action next year.

So a shirt named 'Kirby' is God when it comes to CFB.

Fucking Kirby.
Is that the same guy who, 7 days earlier, said the difference between #5 and #8 was "razor thin"?

#5 Did not play but became "unequivocally better" than #8, who played and beat the then #4 (ended up #6 after the loss).

Some serious :wtf2: right there.

The Buckeyes open with them at home next year. New center, new left tackle, new qb.

Good test for the opener.

:D

Nice, we play Duke so I guess it's a shit year for more than just Alabama.

and then they watched you fumble fuck your way around Wisconsin and decided the obvious answer was obvious.

They clearly kept you were you are because they didn't want to look like complete fools for thinking either one of you was good.

They handled business vs. a weak schedule.

Again, not really that weak just didn't have the top teams. Of the teams we did play, there weren't a lot of really low ranked teams. We played a bunch of Iowa types or better.

Alabama has had that same issue themselves.

Not often enough. I'd punch Saban in the balls to have Michigan at the end of the year instead of Auburn.

They thought Alabama was better the week before, so what's the issue?

Basically all he is saying is - Nothing we saw against Wisconsin changed our minds about Ohio St. They did change their minds on Auburn, Wisconsin and Miami, and they ended up behind you.

However, I never understood why he made the razor thin comment to start with because I thought it was pretty obvious that Iowa loss was going to fuck you.

Fair enough, thank you, but why didn't you list any SEC schools? By the way they don't rank FCS school in the same catagory has FBS schools.

I don't think you would have in the 90s. If MI can keep Harbaugh I see them being a constant pain in the ass more IMO than the tigers/eagles/little brothers.

You answered your own question.

I didn't think Ohio State was good enough to be in the playoffs, but stating that Alabama was unequivocally better the week after saying the difference was "razor thin" 7 days earlier makes absolutely no sense given what transpired in the intervening time.

That is the game and I don't know why. It's shitty and our schedule is shitty next year.

Hope all these SEC coaches bring some strength to the conference otherwise we're fucked.

Even if the remainder of the SEC sucks again, you'll probably get to play Georgia in the conference championship and if you win that it's a quality win

teams in the other conferences will lose enough upsets to benefit you also, usually how it goes

LOL, when was the last time you played Notre Dame? You do know that Notre Dame was relevant in 2012 don't you? In fact that was the last time you played them (2013 NCG). Before that they played in 1987, ND leads the series 5-2, after the 2013 NCG You don't play "Half of your OOC road games aren't against Notre Dame". Who the fuck are you kidding?

Well, if Troy was an FCS school that would be a problem, but since they are, it is not. Maybe you were going for the Mercer angle, if so, Sagarin has Mercer at 145 and Oregon St at 131...close enough at that high a ranking as to be statistically insignificant. The only FBS program he has rated lower is Kansas. and the G5 programs he has rated higher would fill a page.

Troy also rank above 6 SEC schools....but I also wasn't the one calling them "fucking Troy" I was the one referring to them as a 10-2 conference champion that actually beat a ranked OOC team...unlike 13 Pac-12 schools...including yours.

We'll see. Would be better to have a good game on the resume. We can see how even though we scheduled a good FSU team this year, they did bad and it nearly screwed us.

I almost wish to get fucked by it so they don't do that shit in the future, but I know when it comes down to it - I would rather make the playoffs.

42-14 = Not relevant in 2012 either. They were Wisconsin without an Ohio St. 1987 is 30 years ago. Notre Dame is not relevant in the NC discussion, hasn't been since the early 90's. I can understand how you would like to think they are, but when was the last relevant USC team 2005? Hopefully 2033 doesn't roll around with you waxing poetic about the good old days under Pete Carroll like some ND old timers talk about mush mouth.

What ranked OOC team did Bama beat this season? If you want to go with a Florida State school that was ranked #3 just for the first two weeks in the season, then I can always go with a Texas team, that was ranked when USC beat them.

Yes, please go with Texas.

Because USC fan talking about a team ranked because of hype vs a team ranked because they get it done year after year amuses me greatly.
