He needs to man-up. Get real, those hits were not big impact shots like Marc Savard took from Matt Cooke. He shouldn't have missed more than a couple of games if any at all. Steve Stamkos took a 90 mph slapshot square in the face against the Bruins in the playoffs and he made it out for his next shift with his nose steristripped to his face. That's a warrior I'd want on my team right there. Sid the Kid, time to man-up

Who gives a damn, seriously? This is one player that has been great because the rules were changed for him to be successful. Put him in the old NHL hes an average at best player that would have been run in his first couple of seasons. I could care less if he ever plays again

sucks about Sid and sorry for going off topic on this but those tsn comments sections are very poorly moderated imo

included 1 post by "b-ray" that was quite long and detailed how the Langley little league world series coach Jason Andrew was a dead beat dad, didnt pay his child support, had a criminal record for a domestic assault and finished by asking the question how he got into the US

Not to sound crass but I can wait for the actual camps to start so we can talk about the guys that will be playing. He is one guy, and I wish him the best but another 600 are about to start playing.

It was a concussion. Who the hell knows when he will be back, that is the nature of the injury butthe dude doesn't have cancer. He will live. When he's better, he will play.

I am just sick of this whole story. Will he? Won't he? Did he have a setback? Is he skating? Leave the little bastard alone and let him come back when he can. Until then, talk about the guys who ARE playing. His agent is doing him a disservice a bit as well, IMO.
