I imagine trading will be tough this year. Such a deep draft that not many teams will be looking to move up.

If anyone wants chargers they can take from me and I will take an unwanted team. I love my SuperChargers but the board is deader than dead. Would be fun to at least have peeps to discuss the draft with.

And if not am still happy to keep them. I can at least compare 2 draft strategies and debate with myself.

I think there was like 6 or 7 trades in our practice mock...

The Cowboys will trade up or down from 16 if the price is right

I have the 31st pick in every round...I'm sure if I give you my whole draft that would be worth it right?

#2 for #31 in every round in a draft this deep? I'd take it if I were the rams. A chance to get a bunch of cheap depth, release overpaid veterans, and sign a premium free agent or two. They could stock the team with that. They still get #13 to get a premium guy and then get their big WR with #31 and draft a whole new OL and secondary with the rest of the picks.

In a regular year with difference-makers in the first 5 picks and then a drop-off after the second round, maybe not, but this year yes.

Oh I agree it would be something to consider. I wouldn't actually pull the trigger on that kind of trade as teams realize 1) this draft is deep so quality starters can be found in every round and 2) with how the CBA is set up you have to have a chunk of your roster being those cheap young guys to be able to compete. The only reason I would actually pull the trigger on a trade like that is I do have one guy that I just would love to see on the Broncos this year.

Considering they have the #13, I'd take that deal in a second. With two picks in each round, they could move up or down to grab the players they really want. As deep as this draft is, they could easily land 3-4 starters and a couple of role players. A draft like that a couple of years ago just landed Seattle in the Super Bowl. No Brainer to me

I'm still on the hunt for a "lead GM" position for the Steelers. I will be contacting some people that might be interested this week to test the waters. I have a few people interested already, but they cannot predict their upcoming schedules yet. I think I will have an answer by the end of this week. Like I have stated before, I am willing to let another PIT fan take the reins and I will be an assistant. But I will take the lead role if nobody wants it (or if I don't deem them acceptable ) I took the first mock held by Nos, and I want to be fair if anyone else wants to participate in the next. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Nos - No need to worry about PIT, it will be covered regardless! :suds:

Hope everybody is enjoying their teams' free agent signings. Being a Packers fan during free agency is like being a Jewish kid on Christmas morning!

That's usually what it's like for Steelers fans, but we got a gift this year!

They say it's better to give than to receive. It's really good in Cowboys land today
