In the 7th...talent trumps head case because he claimed to be dehydrated.

maybe in some cases. i think his is special in there is too many players available who are just as talented without the injury, and character concerns

i do not think Sentrel Henderson gets drafted because heck he walked out of his pro day....

If you draft him with a 7th you guarantee that he is on your team and if he doesn't pan out you only lose a 7th. If you go the UDFA route the player choose where he goes and there potentially could be a lot of teams bidding for his services.

Yeah, there are still some talented prospects out there. I could see a lot of WRs and RBs going rd 7

I'm not sure if there are many players as talented as Henderson. He had a poor season but physically, he's one of the most gifted players in the entire draft.

based on high school and his physical gifts yes, he didnt gain alot of expierence at Miami because he missed more time than he actually played.

when i think of him i think of Marvin Austin the Dt at UNC. highly recruited player never really lived up to expectations then got suspended for a year for taking gifts. really he got drafted by the giants in the third based on his physical talents and now he works at Wally world just a couple years later.

may7be bad example but he just makes me think of him for some reason

No...it's a great example. It proves that a 7th rounder is worth the risk on a player that never really lived up to expectations in college. There was a reason they were hyped coming out of HS. Maybe they were living off their reputations in college or maybe they were miscast in the collegiate scheme. Either way, a 7th is worth the risk because the success rate of a 7th rounder is probably 1%.

There are a ton of players who have slid because of collegiate issues. Warren Sapp slipped because of marijuana...now he's a HOFer.

Randy Moss slipped because of off-field collegiate issues...HOFer.

Corey Linsley was one of the 2 players I was talking about, who should not still be on the board. I know I may be in the minority here - but I have him ranked as the 2nd best Center.

Richburg, then Linsley, imo.

He's not even listed on Walterfootball.

I like ILB Andrew Jackson that Browns picked especially in the 7th round.
