As a PSU fan I think Hacks gonna be bad. Sure he had a bad situation but he was a big part of the offense being awful for the past 2 years. That said he went in the 4th so its not like you spent too much and if hes gonna go anywhere I guess its best for him to reunite with BOB. I dont have a high opinion of Osweiler either.

Maybe, but the price was right. The success rate on first round QBs is not all that high. I would much rather throw a dart on a 4th or 5th rounder every year. Eventually, one will hit.

Hack was garbage at PSU but he also never had a chance. Not a reason to draft a guy but QBs with his upside are rare. Rd4 isn't a bad place for a 3 year project. Tyler Bray was a similar level of prospect imo and the Chiefs have him #2 on their depth chart now.

I think you would have a tough time hand picking a better landing spot for him than Houston given the relationship with O'Brien. I would not be at all surprised if the Texans land him in the real draft.

True...I think he was frustrated with the change of coaches and kinda mouthed off about it...that will turn off a few GMs, but I think he has as good a chance to be an effective starter as Cook or the 3 guys expected to go round 1.

If you don't have the first pick, then by all means don't make the mistake the Redskins did! Giving up a king's ransom to move up a couple spots is not a good decision!

It'll be funny if the Rams do an RG3 type trade for a QB in this draft. Especially funny considering how many holes are on that roster.

Under the old salary system your point is certainly more valid but selecting the wrong QB doesn't set you back four years salary wise anymore
