Nos' 3rd Annual NFL Mock Draft : CHAT

I guess for me I just view him as a huge bust. He has some things to like for sure but I just think he is too much of a project and doesn't have quite the athleticism to make up for it while he learns the game.

He was top 5 on the 40 yard dash and the 20 yard shuttle, and just out of the top 10 for the 3 cone drill. He was not outstanding, but he is for sure an NFL caliber athlete.

I don't think he is a year 1 star for sure, but I think he can be an average RT in year one and improve from there. And average is a very big upgrade for the Lions at RT.

Also that reminds me @Nosferatu when looking at your full 7 round list the Broncos have 3 picks in the 7th round and you only have them with 1. They got San Frans (7th pick in the round) in the Vernon Davis deal. They also got pick #235 in the Chris Clark trade with the Texans. Also pretty sure there is only supposed to be 253 picks in this draft as the Broncos are supposed to be picking Mr. Irrelevant.

I included the Forfeited picks thats why the number shows higher.

Did they get 7.7 in the Davis trade?

Did they get 7.15 in the Clark deal?

If so I will update the full draft thread. If something is wrong with the 7th round order let me know, I posted what I found on line as far as the full draft.

Yeah they got the 7.7 pick in the Davis deal. And yes the Clark deal is for 7.15 as it was traded from LA to the Texans and then to the Broncos in the Clark deal.

There is for sure some concern with the pick. I think a lot of his technique is forgiven because he does not take any plays off, and he plays to the whistle. Scouts seems to reward high effort players.

No problem was just working on a trade involving one of my 7th round picks and noticed a couple were missing. With all the trades that happen throughout the year hard to keep up with them all. Plus it is amazing how different every site can be on who has what picks.

Yea, I heard the Jets have the 27th overall pick, they traded for it last week in some random trade...

It wasn't about Lee... I just want the Jets to show that they care to improve their offense... even if they fail big time... I like Matt Forte, but he is old... would have loved to see a tandem with them 2... for a team that wants to be ground and pound(despite having 2 great WRs), I don't see a better way than having the 2 headed monster... and when forte gets hurt, or next year when he is likely retired, the Jets would have there RB...

and worse comes to worse, if this all fails, then they would probably be a bad team and get a high draft pick...

Oh...gotcha.

I agree you can't count on Forte for 16 games and probably shouldn't count on any RB for 16+ anymore. Henry I like, but I wouldn't have spent a top 20 on him...look a bit deeper in the draft.

Wow ATL terrible pick man! Just messing that is who I was guessing the Steelers would take. Huge need in the secondary and a guy that some are considering the best Corner in the draft. Good pick and good value.

I spent a bunch of time going back and forth between Conklin and a couple DT's, In the end I had to go with the position that lacked depth in this draft. Plus I like the idea of Abdullah fumbling 3 yards past the line of scrimmage instead of 2 yards behind it.

I also considered Elliot, but I figured I would get disowned from the Lions board if I avoided the trenches.

Elliot is one of the two offensive players I was okay with in the first. I'm guessing it would be me and you keeping the the Lions board going.
