Northwestern Basketball Uniforms

I long for the days of plain, simple Indiana-type uniforms. These are just awful

I don't mind the occasional change. Don't even mind these uni's. But I am tired of uniform changes going on every season. For football, SU wore three diffent pant and jersey combo's for home games this year. For a while they were almost entirely blue.

I do miss knowing all the team colors. It used to be you could tell immediately. I'm not sure what color the NW uni's above are. Maybe a grey'd purple? But it doesn't make me think of NW.

I watched NW play Iowa last night. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary from their unis.

I can't say it affects me at all. I'm a Wisconsin fan and they have about as traditional a uniform as they come. Don't even have the names on the uniforms, which I actually like. It gives them more of a "team" feel than a bunch of individual players.

NW can do whatever they want with their uniforms. It still doesn't defeat the fact that they have a team that will be lucky to win 2 B1G games this year.

The Northwestern athletic department is trying too hard to make Northwestern a "hip and happening" place to play your college sports.

I don't really care for those Northwestern Unis, but I don't really hate 'em either.

As mentioned above, these were far worse:

Fuck Adidas.

I can understand a few of those teams, but Kansas, Louisville and UCLA should have had a little more self respect. You do't rush the court, and you don't wear those fucking travesties.

I don't know an SU fan that liked them. And the UofL colors are more orange than red....and they win a NC. Coincidence?....I think not.

When the enemy is Georgetown, the last thing you want is to wear their colors.

I think that just about sums up what NW has accomplished in B1G play. They're cartoonishly bad.

Agreed. I am still trying to get a 'Zona Hyper Elite jersey on Ebay if only because they were limited edition and at least some people think we deserve to be in that elite program category.
