Norman being traded?

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Redskins are shopping Josh Norman.
The Redskins, who will have a new coach soon, are firmly in the rebuilding stage of their development. In that vein, getting Norman off the books would be a no-brainer for Washington, though moving a declining veteran (and a highly-compensated one at that) is obviously much easier said than done. Norman, currently the second-highest paid corner in football at $15 million annually, holds PFF's fifth-worst grade among 112 positional qualifiers.

Yeah I know, I've been imploring them to trade him for just over two years now! A lot of folks wanted to hold onto hope but an honest assessment then would have informed anyone not blinded by loyalty to the process or love for the player that a rebuild was in order then, instead of now.

BTW: I still don't believe that Bruce wants to concede his plans aren't working and begin the rebuild. Gotta give it to him though, his arrogance has no boundaries despite his 58-80-1 record as GM here, overall record of 79-108 if you count his time in Tampa-Bay. A 42 percent winning percentage, with a grand total of THREE playoff appearances during that time (2 with Tampa) and, wait for it, ZERO playoff wins.

If reporters weren't so focused on the current team's exploits, they should only have one question for him...How does he evaluate and justify his record as GM/team president?
