I'm not talking about moving McGovern to Center full time. The Broncos really like Sam Jones. He has been getting rave reviews around Dove Valley. He could be the next Paradis where he spends a year on the PS and then moves up to become a quality starter. He needed a year to get into the weight room and I've been told the man has really committed himself to the program.

I'm rooting for Jones - remembering he went up to JE at a restaurant the week before the draft - to introduce himself - nice story - nice player prospect.

Hate that Amos is not going to wear Orange and Blue. I am sure the Paradis talks complicated matters.

The 2 safeties I was hoping for are not coming, Amos and Collins. Maybe the backup plan is already on the roster with Thomas, Parks, Marshall, and Cravens.

Maybe we can get soemone like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Earl Thomas, or Johnathan Cyprien. Not sure on fit with any of those guys though.

Got told the Broncos were 10 feet from the finish line with Amos when Green Bay swooped in and pushed the Broncos out of the way. I guess this is how Chiefs fans feel when we signed Sanders out from under them.

Hopefully we still have our eyes on Callahan and Eifert, havent seen much talk on them so hopefully Denver can come in and get them for cheap.

I know they have still been talking to Heuerman. Hopefully all of these bloated TE deals and other big deals eat at the cap space for the next few days leaving him as one of those value signings or even that of Eifert on say a 1-year prove it deal.

Right now here is what I would love to see...Broncos go out and get K.J. Wright signed for the LB core. Makes it where they don't have to reach for one early in the draft but they could still get one early to pair with him and learn the ropes. I would also still add another CB to the group. If Desir doesn't see his price get out of control I think a 1-2-3 group of Harris, Jackson, and Desir would be great. Then sign either Heuerman or Eifert.

I'm honestly not sure. Will Parks had a good year last year. Is he ready to be a full-time starter though? I'm not sure. Still some guys on the market and also was told the Broncos have even talked to Earl Thomas. Now he would be a FS and just have Simmons continue to stay at SS I guess. I highly doubt that deal gets done with how much he is wanting.

I'm with you in the Broncos not getting him. I just think they are doing their due diligence. Maybe hoping the Fangio effect makes him want to come to Denver. My guess is they go more bargain bin shopping or to the draft to add to the safety/cb group. Still quite a few CB's on the market that I could see the Broncos going after adding to the depth and allowing Jackson to move around wherever they need him.

Amos from what I understand had bigger offers from other teams including the Broncos. He felt very insulted by how the Bears treated him after all of his great production so wanted the revenge opportunity with the Packers.
