Troy Aikman just said something interesting....

He said that some of the high powered offenses (GB, NO, DAL) have started slow this season is because the defenses were getting away with being more physical. I thought that was funny, because you get to see a little bit how much more difficult it was back in the day. Even in Aikman's day. Think of the numbers those guys could have put up with these rules. Marino's numbers would be even better. Montana wouldn't matter because the Niners always had a really balanced offense and he didn't get the crazy numbers. He did get rings however.

Demaryius Thomas just dropped the ball without the defender even touching it. He would've had a LONG gain. Essentially punted it it to the Raiders.

Demaryius Thomas had a 50+ yard reception and switched the ball to the other side of his body in the open field and fumbled and the Raiders recovered. He was off to the races but probably would have been caught inside the 15 or so.
