thought of that too but I would think the one loss SEC automatically gets in rule would be a little worn especially since Oregon would have had to lost a game or more later.

So Oregon loses to Stanford and Stanford drops a game @ USC or to Notre Dame somehow. Could happen.

The later loss and non-SEC membership would definitely put a 1-loss Oregon or Stanford team behind a 1-loss SEC champion regardless of the head to head.
