Liking the Mets a lot tonight and especially this series

Faaaar too much pressure on the Dodgers to Win Games one and two when you have Brett Anderson facing Matt Harvey in Game 3

Too much faith in 5 inning batman....

LOL.....I thought 15 yrs was a little too long (that was the last time we made it to the WS).....I hadn't had my coffee yet and still had one eye shut when I posted that....maybe 1 of us should send an email to clue him up??

Yeah, I'm guessing he meant to say they're trying to get to a WS for the first time in 15 years.

I remember a couple weeks ago when they clinched the division, some writer had said that the Mets had never made the postseason more than twice in a ten year period, but 99, 2000, ans 2006 were in the same decade.

Kershaw will be fine. He usually struggles in pressure games. Not much pressure tonight

Did he say anything about the Indians reaching the post season more in the last 20 years than the Mets have in their whole existence?

I'm pretty sure he didn't.....also pretty sure he didn't mention the Mets making it to 4 WS, winning 2 of them during the last 40 some yrs...while the Tribe-lodytes haven't won anything since before we were all born.

Not butthurt at all. He pitched well in the postseason and won a World Series with the Red Sox. He just hasn't been a #1 starter since....well...since he was with the Angels, I guess.

BUT....Vin Scully had surgery and is going to miss the playoffs(hope he's OK). What happens if the Dodgers rally around him??? Kershaw is due to pitch well in the playoffs, too. That shit is overdone. His collapse against STL last year was all Mattingly's fault.

I didn't even realize that about Price. I just remember the guy who mowed down the Sox in the 2008 ALCS out of the bullpen.

I like Kershaw much better at home. He will be fine.
