I do becuz I watched that game last nite and the Devils haven't looked that good all yr long. Last nite they skated their asses off and didn't have to slow down for the 50 yr old who can't keep up. Make no mistake , Lou noticed it also. Yagr is on the block anyway but today he is REALLY on the block.

Is there a reason you're using "Y" instead of "J"?

I love Jagr, he's amazingly fun to watch and the team is not better without him but I really hope we trade him at the deadline. He still has plenty to provide to a contender and we could really use the 2nd or 3rd round pick. Zidlicky should be dealt, Ryder should be dealt, whatever you can get for those guys. Sell the assets that don't factor in long term and stockpile draft picks.

I think the Devils could very well go bankrupt if they tank it. This is dangerous territory for them, and I think that's why Lou had to go after all these terrible veterans.

Even though it's probably not needed and a pipe dream...the dream of 10 year old Pix lives on. I just want to know that at the end of his career, #68 is in in the rafters in Pittsburgh. Lord knows he deserves it to be retired somewhere, and Pittsburgh is basically the only place that makes sense. Unless he's traded to Colorado of course.

The Devils owners have deep pockets and they're getting a share of everything that happens at the Prudential Center so I don't think they have too much to worry about on that end.

How so. When the new ownership took over they wiped out the massive debt load that was killing VanDerBeeck (the former owner). Also the arena is a cash cow and they just signed an agreement to take over all the events from the old Meadowlands (Brendan Byrne/Continental/IZOD Center...aka the place the Devils & Nets used to play) for the next two years.
