Bit heavy handed for a team projected to be picking high up in the Lottery. You guys are terrible.

I like Minny too but there are 5 teams better than them with better veterans and playoff experience, most of them are young teams where the core will also stay together. Doesn't bode well for them

I love Minnesota's team this year. Need to gel as a team, but have all the working parts for a team that could be really good for the next 5-7 years, or for as long as KAT is at his peak.

yeah its really nice getting to play for 2nd place in the west for a few years!

5 teams better? I have them pretty firmly in the #5 slot, unless that's what you meant. I think 6-8 is up for grabs this year. Also think Minny has a good shot getting to the second round based on who they match up with.

6 years ago, I'd have happily taken this for the Warriors. Hell just being in the playoffs would have been amazing back then.

I think Jazz are going to shock some people as well. A lot of defensive talent there, and unless they have a warriors level offense to run them out of the gym I think it is very competitive.

Although this depends on Favors returning to pre injury form and Hood taking a leap to the next level.

GS, SA, Houston, OKC...yeah firmly in the 4 but I feel the gap from 4 to 5 is larger than people think. Butler helps A LOT but the core is still young. Wiggins needs to have his breakout year where he brings his game to the next level for have Minny as a true contender in the West imo

No team is a true contender in the west until GS breaks up.

Problem is the Jazz don't have a PG...

If you gauge shooting as 85% of all basketball skill then Teague is slightly better. You just have to ignore literally every other aspect of the game, and ignore the fact that Teague is also below league average for his career as a shooter.

They just added the best defensive PG in the NBA to their roster...

Paul is a large upgrade overall, but his defense is not significantly better than Beverly. The major difference there is Beverly was fine with the ball being out of his hand on offense.

I've always liked Paul but his teams have never done anything when it mattered...

Paul is a throw back PG in an era without any dominant big men. He's ideal in a pick and roll but he's also a ball dominant point guard. Ideally, he would be great with a guy like DeMarcus Cousins, with shooters and defenders everywhere else. Other than that, it's hard for his teammates to succeed because CP3 diminishes their skill sets.
