Since Arizona plays in the "Central" Division, I am hoping for Houston. Not SLC or even Omaha (sorry Mr Buffett).

A Houston-Dallas rivalry would be great.

That would make sense to move to the Central. A QC team has to be in the same division as MTL. Not sure who to move into the Metro though.

If the League is truly fed up with the Arizona experiment (and that is not a given) then it feels like they would want to move quickly. Quebec City or Houston seem the most likely since they both have quality arenas ready to go. I bet QC could be operational Fall 2024.

I don't think there's any way that the Coyotes can provide a definitive answer on this plot of land (I think it's 41 acres in north Phoenix) that will satisfy the league. From what I understand, there are competing parties that will be bidding on this land and it could take months before there's any kind of resolution. I'm at the point where I don't care where the team is relocated, just get them out of Phoenix.
