No Bears on Hardknocks!

You can always use additional exposure.

Totally wrong. Exposure is quite obviously not always good. It is often extremely harmful. And giving players additional reasons to have to pose for the cameras in the locker room and potentially undermine their behind-the-scenes relationships is definitely not a good thing.

The only upside to this is for the fans. Not the teams and players. If it was, teams would be fighting over the right to be on that show, which they quite obviously are doing the exact opposite of.

I ignored your original implication because it was so dumb that i decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. My bad. To imply we don't need the exposure bc the bears are plenty popular is retarded. You can always use additional exposure. It's not something tangible where there's no room for more. Jesus, who thinks like this? It's not like the Bears the most favorite team in the NFL by every freaking fan in the world.

And how exactly do they benefit from this exposure? People are going to just suddenly be bears fans cuz of some stupid show on hbo? They're just going to rush out and buy merchandise because they saw them on some cable channel? Hard knocks is an unnecessary DISTRACTION from the task at hand. Winning a Super Bowl.

The Bears are in the second biggest market in the league. They are oldest and most decorated franchise in the league. Hell, they fucking INVENTED the fucking league. I don't think they are going anywhere, and no, they dont need exposure. Shitty fucking teams, that are trying to sell tickets need exposure, ya stupid fucking ass clown.

But obviously anyone who disagrees or has a different opinion than you is an idiot, right? Who does that say more about?

No. What i took away is you idiots thinking that being on Hard Knocks will somehow have a negative impact on the Bears this season, which includes hurting Cutler's feelings. What other possible reason is there for not wanting to have more access to your favorite team? So go ahead dummy, tell me why you don't want the Bears featured on Hard Knocks. This ought to be good and of course will have no resemblance to protecting the Bears.

Classic response. Yes, I guess in your eyes I'm a "dummy"... But I'm not the one proclaiming myself a genius while engaging in flagrant stupidity. :L

You do not impress me; never have. No wonder Noon and others think you are an asshole.

Your supposition that fans are somehow protecting Cutler is ridiculous, if not a complete stretch. Really shows your lack of thought you placed in this one, but expected. To answer your question: I don't watch HBO, so I could care less if they were featured or not. Sounds as if you are a little butt-hurt that they are not on Hard Knocks, so you feel the need to cut on others to make yourself feel better. Now run along like a good idiot...

-waiting for your snide comments I'm sure will come

I think it would be cool to have the Bears on Hard Knocks, and just as a fan wish I could see it. But obviously, I'm fine with them not being featured.

I see both sides of the argument.

Why are you insisting on being reasonable? There is only one side of the fence to be on. Pick a side and fight!

You're right. How dare I?

Whatever side the majority is on, mark me down as being on the other. Screw all of you!

I would like to have seen it.

If it's a distraction we're screwed for the season anyway.

They should do shit teams only. So everyone can learn what not to do. Should be a rotation of the Jags, Jets, Bills, Radiers, Bucs, Browns, (fill in your pick here).

I'd love to see Cleveland just have a year-round 24/7 reality show featuring the inner-workings of their front office. Just to laugh at the incompetence of that organization.

I would seriously pay money to see all of their off-season meetings over the past 20 plus years. "Why would we draft a young QB in the first round when we have Charlie Frye and Kelly Holcomb to cycle in and out over the next three seasons?"

Genius.

Since we are talking major losers here, how about a show just featuring nfl players in prison?

Cubz, why are you posting here and not pitching show ideas to big name TV executives for a living?

i agree with BD07, we dont need all this bull crap, we need to be solid on defense and win games. the cowboys were on this years ago and it got them nowhere.

The Browns have a real team nowadays, they just need better QB play. That team is close to being a real big threat. For the first time in forever.
