That was clutch!

Should be the game as the Braves have some pretty good relief pitching.

Puig has to be back in the 1st or 2nd spot I think. I like him with protection behind him.

Gordon was safe but it was a toss up play. We fought till the very last out and we outhit our opponents. No doubt we should have won but hey, hopefully we learn from this and go back to LA a more prepared team.

Gordon's contribution to the Dodgers in the playoffs so far = zero.

Mattingly made at least two managerial mistakes that likely cost us this game.

1. Lifting Greinke for a PH after 6 when his pitch count was still quite reasonable. Afterall, Greinke is one of the better hitters on the team.

2. Intentionally walking Reed Johnson to load the bases with Heyward on deck.

Had it not been for those two moves, I believe we would have won. Now it's a new series...best 2 out of 3.

I agree, I think the Heyward hit was a fluke though, or he should have opened with Belisario. I believe Greinke can work his pitch count as high as Kershaw can but it depends on how he felt, I know guys throw as hard as they possibly can in the playoffs.

"Puig has to be back in the 1st or 2nd spot I think. I like him with protection behind him" - Forgot to mention Puig's table-setting abilities.

Rodriguez has sucked all September, should of kept Withrow in against Costanza, and pilling Grienke for a pinch hitter was dumb. We gave away the game.

I read in the LA Times where the Dodgers may pitch Kershaw on 3 days rest, dumb dumb dumb, look if our other pitchers and BP can't get the jobs done and our hitting isn't coming thru I don't want Our ace having to go on 3 days rest after throwing so many pitches Thursday, talk about panic.

He may have to, depending on how game 3 goes. But the sad part is, with better managing, he wouldn't have to. Mattingly should never have allowed Kershaw to go 120+ pitches in a game that was well in hand. He should have been looking ahead. Then, he pulls Greinke after 80+ pitches in a close game where he is pitching well. They say mistakes are magnified in the post season. Mattingly is definitely under the magnifying glass, and he's not looking too good.

Not sure who is worse. Donnie Dum Dum or Grady Little.

Fucking Dum Dum cost us that game. If they don't win the pennant, it will be on that moron's head for his shotty managing skills.

Walking Reed Johnson?
Heyward hits lefties better than righties. Did Dum Dum do any scouting? What in the hell is Trey Hillman even there for?

I would not put that past Donnie Dum Dum. He's a tool.

First I don't think we would need Kershaw in game 4 and it is best to go bullpen full in game 4 after Nessie anyway. That way if the Dodgers do have to go to game 5, it is Clayton and if it doesn't, he starts game 1 on the NLCS. I agree Greinke should not have been pulled but the walk to set up for Heyward is the logical play. 8 out of 10 times he doesn't hit there. Donnie was 1 for 2 there. By the way I would have run Gordon but would have been part of hit and run not straight steal.

Walking Reed Johnson to get to Heyward was one of the worst decisions I've seen a manager make.
