Philly has momentum and a nasty 1-2 that will be going in Game 2 & 3. I could see this going 4 or even 5. Braves didn't end the season strong struggling with the Marlins but I think the Braves come out on top.

Over the last few seasons this series between the 2 teams have been competitive. The Phil’s need to take games 2 and 3 and they need to split the Suarez/Falter start.

This applies to both teams (obviously they play the same series schedule) but I hate no travel day if Game 5 is necessary. It impacts the Phil’s more. Braves Game 1 starter will be available but Wheeler would have to pitch on 3 days rest.

Agreed but because Seattle is West Coast they won’t put them at 1 pm.

It's a tough series for the Phils but if they could somehow find a way to win game 1 I like their chances. But Atlanta is a tough matchup for Ranger with all the good right handed hitters. Wheeler and Nola have both been pitching well lately. Strider has been real tough on the Phillies but maybe pitching in Philadelphia he'll have a little trouble. In the old days at the 65k capacity Veterans stadium the fans could sometimes rattle a pitcher. I don't know if that works at CBP. (also the fact that he is able to navigate his way through life with that **** star mustache leads me to believe he could be hard to rattle)

Houston and Seattle should have been the 1 pm game. They couldn’t do it because Seattle can’t not care about baseball at 10am. They need to not care about baseball at 1pm PST.

Some guys in the Phil’s lineup have good numbers off of Fried. Realmuto is hitting .333 against him. Harper at .280ish. Castellanos is 5-9. Hoskins and Schwarber have terrible numbers against Fried. Suarez has pitched decently against the Braves this year.

Dave Robertson is off the NLDS roster because of a calf strain. He’s their best RH bullpen arm. They already weren’t deep in the pen. No bueno.

For the Braves Acuna is 3-10 vs Suarez and Riley and Contreras are both hitting over .400 against him.
