I swear that dude is a plant from the Braves. We've had him on the team twice and all he does is get injured.
Story goes he injured it celebrating Harper’s HR. FML!

that sucks. It will be interesting to see what they do if Ranger does not have a good start. Would they punt on game one and save the good relievers for the rest of the series? On a positive note, Domingez looked good in that game against the Cardinals.

So Nelson takes Robertson’s roster spot. I would have put Hall on the roster because Hoskins is on the struggle bus. Can’t believe that Thompson is still hitting him 2. He’s a hole in this lineup.
Hoskins is streaky though. If we could suddenly get him on a hot streak it would be huge.

Not sure it’s today. Fried has great numbers against him. You’re right though that he is streaky. I like your optimism.

Yeah, but he hits lefties better in general, so maybe he's due. I like Hall too but I think he was in the minors on Sept. 1, so I'm not sure if he is eligible for the postseason. I also noticed Syndergaard is on the roster. He helped them down the stretch but I'm not sure if there is any situation where I'd want to use him in this series.

I have similar thoughts on Gibson. Yuck! That dude’s September was horrid. The only think I can think of would be two scenarios:
Quick hook for Suarez or Falter if it’s clear in inning 1-2-3 that they don’t have it. You need a bridge to the 7th inning pen. Additionally, you have to protect yourself against a situation the Indians just had with a 15 inning game. You need a starter who can take the ball and go until it’s finished. You hope that because Syndergard and Gibson are vets that they can handle it and battle and keep them in the game. But truth be told, if they see the bump, Phil’s are likely already in a bad spot.

Yeah I could see that. Those guys can at least "eat innings" if that situation comes up.

2-0 Phils! What a start! Castellanos woke and drove in a run.
That was a no no no yes! When I realized he was first pitch swinging. So huge to give Ranger a lead before he takes the hill. Let’s hope he has a good start today.
