Hell yeah, now we just need to convince the fans not to be stupid...remember how despite playing less than 15 games on the season, Rollins was the starting SS until about 2 weeks before the game?

Nice GDT fellas. Sorry I couldn't be here. I was watching the game down in Pomona (for work, lol) When Howard struck out, I jumped up and screamed fuck yeah in a Chili's (only place I could find, lol) bar.....crickets.....and a lot of weird stares later, I finished my beer went back to my hotel and was a party of one! Fuck L.A.!!!

Re-reading this gdt made m relive that game and all of it's scary goodness.

Uribe with the 1st pitch swinging , driving me nutz

Sorry I couldn't post here, was out at dinner with a bunch of friends. We were at Dosa on Fillmore, and there were no TVs, and the whole restaurant was frantically tapping their phones for updates on each pitch. And when Wilson K'd Howard, the whole place erupted together, from their phones. Modern fandom.

Then we all did shots. Old school fandom.

It's fun to read the GDT with hindsight. Uribe is classic. Makes you so mad with his FPOMs and 3 pitch Ks, and then clutches a FPPWHR (first pitch pennant winning HR). Or a big time sac fly from game 4.

I finally have given in to Uribe. I love the guy. He's going to play a part in some pivotal way in us winning the WS.
