Webb should be the PHer here (if he hasn’t already been sent home).

The Dodgers' offense has scored 14 runs in 33 innings.
The Giants' offense has scored 8 runs in 34 innings.

Is their pitching THAT much better than ours?

Don't draw big conclusions from small populations. On anything.

Not trying to be a dick, but, you’ve seen their pitching roster right?
Yeah, I know. I had just hoped our offense would be a bit better than this. I get that pitching wins championships and all, but had hoped for something different this series. Maybe Thursday we'll get something going.

The Brewers and doggies pitching is so far superior to everyone else in the game, it is pretty embarrassing. The Giants can hang with anyone as far as the bully is concerned (tonight not withstanding), but we probably have the worst rotation of all the playoff teams.

We have Webb going on Thursday. At home.

I give us the edge.

Yet the Braves pulled one out on the Brewers. Hope we do the same on Thursday and you are correct on us having the edge for game 5.

Did MLB GameDay freeze or are the Dodgers holding some extended ceremony in the middle of the 7th?

Samesies, but we’re up against a better pitching and playoff tested team. I love our team and still like our chances in game 5, but we have Buster, Brandon and nothing else for playoff pressure.

These guys battle back from adversity. I love this team.

EDIT: and to a lesser extent Bryant and Longoria…but y’all get the point.

A lot of what got us 107 wins was regular season stuff, like Billy Beane said "my stuff don't work in the playoffs"

But game 5 is a coin flip, and this LA team is the best remaining team in the playoffs....we get by them....

We have one SOLID starter. And he is on the bump Thursday. I like our chances.

And we have Gausman available, too. He's been better lately. Wood could pitch as well. I don't think pitching will be the problem. The Giants need the offense to come through.

That is a tough task against Urias, though.

I can't even get a handle on what game 5 maybe like. Most people here are underestimating Urias. He's not going to be a walk in the park. He did give us a tough time in game 2. We have our best pitcher on the mound. That is a good thing. Can he repeat game 1? We shall see.
The offense has to wake up for this game. Can't go into this game expecting another shutout.

Looking at what could of happened had we started Disco in game 3 .... we may have been eliminated yesterday. I'll gladly take 2-2 and move on to game 5. This will be an interesting game to see managed .... for both teams.

How long of a leash do they have on the starters? It's really an elimination game for both clubs. Win or go home. You'd really like to turn to your pen ... according to some predefined roadmap ..... not because your starter is getting raked!
