Regardless, Arrieta wasn't going to sustain that kind of success forever.

Still, a 0.86 ERA over 20 starts is pretty incredible. His peripherals (1.94 FIP, 2.46 xFIP, 9.0 K/9, 1.7 BB/9, 0.12 HR/9 (!) 60% ground ball rate) were pretty outstanding.
