With Webb going tomorrow there is a good chance for a sweep, unless the Giants put a throw away lineup out there. That might be hard to do for this team though because it seems like no matter who they put in the lineup, that guy performs.

This next three game set could be ugly. The Giants have used their two reliable starters against the Triple A Cubs and will have to with at least one Bully game against the Padres on the road who are fresh off a three game sweep by the Dodgers and so will be due to win a couple now.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, who have no weaknesses in their pitching staff, get the Triple A Diamondbacks at home for an almost certain sweep. if the Giants still have the lead after the next three games I will be satisfied.

17 games isn't very much, and you could also point to Snell pitching much better since the firing. A 3.76 ERA for a team playing at Petco (and Dodger/Stadium/AT&T Park) isn't really good. Chris Paddack's fallen off a cliff since a strong rookie campaign, Darvish is in the midst of a 2-3 month nosedive, and Snell's had a disappointing 2021 season. The only move they made to try to bolster that rotation was fucking Jake Arrieta.

It would be very disappointing if we don't get a Dodgers/Giants series in the playoffs. Hell, a Game 163 for the division would be awesome.
