I'm watching Nats at Dodgers. Kershaw just ripped off a nasty curve to Werth that clearly caught the low inside corner. Umpire just let go as a ball.

MLB seriously needs to do something about it's umpires not calling 12-6 curves for strikes when they clearly are. That pitch is miss called far too much.

I can see why lots of pitchers just scrap it and go with the slider. Jim Palmer said lots of umpires just can't handle a nasty curve.
