Good. They need some good talent evaluators and astute negotiators who don't get hoodwinked and rush into signing injured free agents for big money who no one else wants.

According to Larry Baer this morning. The new person is going to report to Baer and not Sabean and will have the freedom to reshape the scouting dept and other parts of the organization

I do think ownership is committed to winning and will do what it takes. They value stability which the organization has had but they realize it is no longer working.
